Good Friday Latte Art Competition: Supporting BEAT
Join Us for a Latte Art Competition this Good Friday!
Prepare for an evening of excitement on March 29th at 7 pm, as we host a latte art competition at KIN+ILK St Davids! We're excited to welcome specialty coffee organisations like Boss & Brew Academy and Rhostio, alongside our own team.
We've invited top baristas from each coffee company to flaunt their skills for exciting prizes. And while you're enjoying the competition, treat yourself to an array of Welsh drinks. What's more, proceeds from drink sales will be donated to BEAT, the UK's leading eating disorder charity.
BEAT holds profound significance for us, as it aids approximately 1.25 million people in the UK grappling with eating disorders. That's why our Director, Haydn Darke, embarked on a walk from Newport to Southampton, raising awareness and funds for BEAT's crucial services.
Haydn reflects, "The reason behind my walk is deeply personal. A close friend of mine battles with anorexia, and last year, she required specialised care, with the closest facility located in Southampton. Our objective is clear: to urge the Welsh Government to invest in local solutions, ensuring that friends and family can provide indispensable support close to home."

BEAT's national helpline operates 365 days a year, offering essential support to those in need. Their mission is unequivocal: to alleviate the agony and anguish caused by eating disorders.
We eagerly anticipate this event and sincerely hope to see you there! Let's unite to celebrate artistry, community, and an exceptional cause. Don't miss out – it's bound to be a latte of fun!
